This last year was the year of the dragon, and next it's the year of the snake. The dragon wants another year for himself, so he's "becoming a snake" by cutting off his legs. Cute but creepy.

The word "naga" just happens to be the Malay word for "dragon".

Oh, that's ingenius! I like your interpretation much more than mine. I thought the artist was criticizing Obama and doing some kind of "shoot yourself in the foot" metaphor. ... I didn't process the title.
