The few months before Sarah passed away, she was creating more traditional artwork instead of her digital pieces. Here is one of the last pieces she created. gorgeous work. The piece has something of a past time feel to it yet seems to encompass a timeless beauty. I feel so behind looking at this since I have been keeping away from many online communities for some time and this is the first that I have known Sarah is no longer. She was the my inspiration (plus it helped when she coaxed me to try it during an IM conversation) to get into digital media.

I really like the diagonals in this. It has a nice balance to it, with many interwoven tidbits that really bind it together.
