I personally find this pretty amusing. The trend with fanfiction written by yaoi fangirls is just to make every boy gay, so it's funny to make like Axel doesn't even understand the concept of heterosexual relationships.....oh, and though it should be clear, Icha Icha Paradise is known in the dub as Make-Out Paradise, the naughty book Kakashi is always carrying. I debated using Icha Icha Violence, since it sounds more Axel-ish, but not everyone's gotten to Shippuden yet.

lol, turns out you're right and I'm apparently crazy...actually, I got confused between what I had watched a few evenings before in Shippuden and soem Kakashi research I'd been doing with the help of Wikipedia. I accidentally crossed my references. Make Out Violence comes before Make Out Tactics, my mind just chose to forget that. lol

....Sadly it's likely that someday I will put a reference into my comics that has no basis in reality. My mind tends to work in fits and spurts, and not even very well at that. Reality becomes an optional setting at times.

I know...the problem lies in the fact that most fanfic writers are female, and for some reason a lot of them write yaoi. I don't know why, I can't explain it, I can't even explain why I like yaoi....but I do like straight couples too, and I like to read about both. I wish there was a bit more evenness in the fanfic world, but such is life.

Yea, I do find it hilarious how heterosexual relationships became "unheard of" to many yaoi fangirls. I mean, say I was about to draw a picture of Roxas and Namine, or Sora and Kairi...I'd get flamed and pulverized with bricks by the yaoi community in seconds. xD

I know, it's unfair. I'm at least willing to view all possible relationships...okay, most possible relationships....but many get the mind set that whatever popular yaoi coupling is in the fandom is the only way to interpret it. One reason no Sora/Riku has worked it's way into my stuff....I think Sora and Kairi are so cute together! (...I do admittedly think Axel and Roxas belong together as well, but I'm not about to shoot down someone else for thinking the same of Roxas/Namine, or whatever couple they happen to support)

I try to supplement my yaoi diet with healthy injections of straight couples per day. I currently choose Syaoran/Sakura and Tamaki/Haruhi as my straighteners of choice....but I can't give up AkuRoku, it's like my chocolate. lol

And we know Saix wouldn't touch her, because he's a member of the 1st Church of Kingdom Hearts, and rule #1 is do not sully yourself with the good guy's girlfriend. Well, actually that's rule #3. ...unless there's a cutscene I have yet to see, we don't know exactly how long Axel had custody of Kairi for. While playing the game they make it seem as if it's all happening in one day since they never sleep or eat, but I subscribe to the theory that the events are actually playing out over several days at least. Personally, every time we hop in the gummy ship I assume we eat and sleep, so that means....Axel possibly had, lemme count....uh, in my game Kairi got kidinapped right before the Pridelands got revealled, so we still have a bunch of second-rounds left to fight, plus Hollow Bastion...(I'm not counting visits to Atlantica since they are unnecessary, or Pridelands since you can beat the game without ever going there...) at least 8 days pass between her being abducted and us encoubtering Axel in Betwixt and Between. Plenty of time to abuse her more throughly, depending on when Saix showed up to take her.
Once again, that was more proof that I overthink these things.....lol, and oh, Jenova's Witness reference, hilarious. My friend owns the T-shirt.

There's a Yuffie/Kairi trend? I hadn't noticed, I've read some creepy Larxene/Namine, but that's pretty much the only Yuri I've happened across (other than Namine/Kairi)....Yuffie/Axel is still one of the weirdest couples I've come across. More proof that Axel truly is the fandom bicycle.

I can't stop lauging on this end of the net. The concept is just funny. It's true, next to nothing is sacred to a yaoi fanfic writer. They have the ability to twist everything around, especially the more talented ones. That's why this comic is so amusing. I wonder when was the last manga I read with a straight couple? Hmmm... Hmmm....well I read deathnote a looooong time ago through scanslations, so I guess my most current series that I ship straight couples for are Absolute Boyfriend, Negima, and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (although Tsubasa has one yoai-ish coupling in Fai and Kurogane)

I've read a few books of Tsubasa. The series rocks! Although, my library only has, what? Four books? Disapointing, ne? The series combines the author's other works, but I only read Chobits out of those... I haven't read enough of it to search for a yaoi pairing. I've kinda got my hands full with another *coughakurokucough* but I love Fai. He's just so lovable. If I ever met him, I'd glomp him for sure. Most people would probably run away from something like that, but he strikes me as the kinda guy who'd fall down laughing first and ask questions later.

Fai is totally like that....especially when drunk. He runs around going 'Meow!' he's too cute. I used to have a rather small manga library, but once I started working I put more and more money towards it and I've got up around 80 books now. I'm pleased. lol
I've read a great deal of Clamp's works so I know most of the characters that appear from their other series, but Syaoran has always been my favourite in all of Clampdom, so I was so happy he's the main character once again alongside Sakura....but yeah, other fandoms have me in more of a strangle hold lately....lol
