Description
This was the pattern that I designed for my Fundamentals of Design course. The assignment was: "Using only black, white, and shades of gray, create a field of texture that has the illusion of being tactile. Experiment with size, focus, and contrast to create a strong illusion of tactile texture."

I was the most proud of this one because it is the first one that I designed without using any of the patterns or shapes pre-existing in Illustrator. Plus, snakes are among my favorite animals, so I was really glad that I was able to achieve the proper effect.
