Shh, don’t tell www.deviantart.com/theflailips… that I did another artwork based on Lillie’s outfit from their story, Alternate Pokemon: The Medieval Movie(Pt.2)Soon, a young peasant girl, May rested her head on a nearby shaded tree. She had been on her feet all day, and wanted to rest. She remembered that she was kinda breaking the rules their father told her, but her brother would understand. After all she was going to go see her friend Ashley up the road soon anyway. As far as May could remember, Ashley had always been a well liked girl around town. And May couldn’t argue. The tan, blonde haired girl, was only a year older than her, but already was talented in talking with the magical creatures. Her mother was a dairy farmer, and as such meant Ashley was going around the town and countryside handing out MooMoo milk. ,May was jealous by how vigorous and reliable her friend was, something her father would probably agree she should be doing right now. But the Mareeps were fine, and today was a good day to rest. She even could feel the gentle breeze, as it hit her face. Just then, she heard some footsteps approaching her. So she opened her eyes and there she saw Ashley, giving her a stern look, arms crossed and puffed up cheeks. The girl wore instead of the usual dress, a pair of denim overalls over an orange top, brown gloves and a pair of brown boots. To May this made Ashley look like a boy, and this only made her giggle at the thought of her friend ever being a boy. It was impossible to see it, as Ashley was still mostly too girl to pull off the recent trend of tomboyishness. Still it was a funny idea. “Hello Ashley. How are you,” May groggily says to her friend with a cheeky smile. “Don’t hello me! You have work to do! Now come on let’s go! You have those eggs yes? I have to continue my route,” Ashley scolded her. May just replied with a smile as this was normal for Ashley, an all work and now play attitude. She decided to get up, and follow her friend back to her family’s barn to get the daily trades. The girls just gave each other smiles, as they raced each other back to the barn. They got to the Mareep farm, to see May’s little brother, Max, doing his work as a sheppard boy. May’s family was the local Mareep farmers, but recently Ashley had been acquiring weird eggs, possibly magical creature one’s and having to take them to the wizard Samuel. Ashley was fond of work on the farm, as she wasn’t the type to want to leave the comfort of her routine. Despite her lazy friend, Ashley actually took her work seriously as she had to help her mother since her father went off to fight for Queen Cynthia, which was an honor! Ashley was a simple girl, but she did wish she had gone with her father. Alas that wouldn’t have been possible as she was need at the farm to help her mother. Ashley kept herself busy milking the Miltank and doing her other jobs without a single complaint. She was born for this after all! , As she leaves, Ashley makes her way home, stopping at the local bakery for a loaf of bread. Inside was a modest space held up by wooden pillars and harden clay flooring. There was shelves upon shelves of all kinds of breads, having stocks of different type of bread on each shelves. Ahead of her was a wooden counter, and behind there was the familiar blonde hair of the bakers daughter, Serena. Ashley knew the girl who was two years older than her as far as she could remember. Serena was always a kind and mature girl, who kids in the area called big sis, as she did pull the role off. But as Ashley walked up to her big sis, she couldn’t help but feel out of place here. She was dressed so inappropriately for a place like this, but she knew that big sis Serena wasn’t the type to judge. The older girl wore a white off shoulder top, with a black girdle over it and a long brown dress skirt, that went down to her lower part of her legs. A white head-bandana covering the front of her head. Ashley walked up to her, trying not to get distracted by big sis’s cute outfit. Serena must of heard her, because she turned around and greeted with her usual sweet and warm smile, “why hello there, Ashley. How is your day today?” “It’s great big sis. Say can I get a few loafs of bread this evening,” Ashley asked, trying to stay self controlled. Serena giggled, turned around and placed the two loafs of bread, as she tells her, “that’ll be 1 silver each.” Ashley put the two silver coins on the counter put the two loafs in her basket, before begrudgingly leaving with a simple goodbye. Ashley was only 16, but even she couldn’t resist the 18 year old baker’s daughter. Yes they were both girls, but the heart wanted what the heart wanted. Still it wasn’t meant to be, as she remembered that big sis was going to be married off to a farmer boy, Brock. Not that she could complain, Brock was a bit of a gentleman, when he wasn’t trying to flirt with every girl he came across. She then next makes her way to the wizard’s house. There she enters, and sees the older gentleman preforming some studies on a magical creature. This creature she learned to be called Pikachu, was a yellow mouse, with pointy ears with black tips at the top, two circles on it’s cheeks, three brown stripes on the back and a thunderbolt shaped tail. Ashley would often meet the wizard, and help him around the house when she wasn’t at the farm. “Greetings great wizard,” she greeted the old wizard politely with a bow. He turned to her and gave a kind grin and said, “hello Ashley. You are a family friend, so you know you don’t need to greet me so formally, you know that yes?” Ashley giggled and replied, “but it wouldn’t be ladylike if I didn’t.” The wizard gave her an embarrassed smile, as looked to the room next over. Sitting at the chair was a blonde hair girl, around Ashley’s age girl. She had fair skin and wore a brown dress, black girdle wrapped around the stomach, and a green bow in her hair. Ashley had come to know the girl as Lillie, but she didn’t know anything else, as the wizard wouldn’t tell her. But it wasn’t her place to pry. She puts the basket down and pulls out the unusual three large eggs. “Here’s what Norman found, sire,” she told him, as she inched closer to the man. ,The Pikachu looked at her, cheeks sparkling with that “electricity” as the wizard called it, angrily glaring at her. Ever since she could remember, Ashley could speak Pokémon like a human, and this was no exception. “Listen Pikachu, I and him are friends, so quit your harking at me,” she tells the creature. “I don’t care if you were his granddaughter, I don’t like you,” it replied back to her. Ashley just quickly placed the eggs on the wooden counter beside them, picked up her basket and went to talk to Lillie. As she approached her, Lillie looked up and gave her a smile. “Why hello Ashley! It is good to see you,” Lillie greets her. “How are you feeling Lillie,” Ashley asked her, as she took a seat in the chair in front of her’s. “I shall be fine. Say, are you going to be ever leaving this village,” Lillie asked her. If this were anyone else, besides Lillie or big sis Serena, she would’ve laughed in their face and told them there was no way in Arceus’s green earth, that she’d do something as that. She only knew of the farming life, so why would she ever doubt her feelings now? But she instead simply replied, “no. I am quite content with my daily life. Why you ask?” Lillie didn’t respond, and she seem to be more quiet than usual. Ashley knew she wasn’t ready to talk about it yet, and so she decided to change the subject. After a while, Ashley left for home, so she could help her mother before sundown. She said her goodbyes to the wizard and young girl, and made her way home. There she did some more milking to the Miltanks and then, went inside. Her mother, Delia, had just recently changed into her pink nightgown, as she was stirring the pot of food over the fireplace. Ashley placed the basket of food on the table and immediately went to help her mother with the meal. “Ashley please go change into something more lady like,” Delia ordered her daughter. Ashley sighed, put down the unpeeled potatoes, and went to her room to change into what her mother saw as ladylike. She came out wearing an orange puffy dress, complete with her hair put up in a ponytail thanks to a light blue hairbow, before putting on a white apron around her dress and handkerchief over her head. The two finished dinner, just in time for Ashley and her mother to hear the familiar voice of her fiancé Sir Gary, grandson of the wizard, came into the doorway. Ashley immediately stopped what she was doing, and approached him, keeping her face looking happy, as believable as it would be. Despite what some thought, neither Ashley or Gary actually wished to marry each other. But to help “protect” Ashley and her mother, Gary was picked by her father to do so, in exchange for Ashley’s hand in holy matrimony. Gary begrudgingly accepted, and soon the two were to be married once peace was restored to the land. And from what it sounded like, it was coming sooner than the two ever realized. Still they both had family lineages to form, and this wasn’t their choice. But deep down, Ashley and Gary both would love to barf at the sight of the other.....It’s a secret.
