Description
Yes, I'm finally doing one of these.The 'pets' in this shop are not cats and dogs and the like, but instead they are creatures like Nekos and Inus ... and the like. They can be whatever height you want (including size-shifter), whatever age you want, whichever gender you want, or you can choose to switch and you'll be the pet. In that case you'll still have to choose what your owner's going to be like.
You can choose the species, but please don't make it some obscene thing that you have to go into great detail to explain what it is. The more I already know about the creature I'm playing, the better I'll be able to play it. So just keep that in mind.
Also please specify personality ^^
The rules are what they have always been for me: No death, fatal vore, and/or sex.
Other than that, I hope you guys like it and have fun

I smiled softly, then reached for my wallet, pulling out a twenty on the spot. "Guess I'm the lucky guy who takes this beauty home, then~"

The clerk smiled as he took the money. "I'm glad you think so sir. Oh, we've also included his food supply for free. When do you want to pick it up?"

I blinked, surprised. "He comes with the food supply? Um...I think I can pick it up now...that way I don't have to make two trips..."

The clerk nodded. "I'll get it right away and bring it to the front desk.".

I nodded. "Alright..." I said, then looked at my new pet bat. He was so cute...even though right now he was just sleeping...

The bat boy cuddled into your warm hand and smiled.

I chuckled, then held him closer as I went toward the front of the store to wait for the food supply

The bat boy clung to youe shirt in his sleep and sighed happily.

I smiled, looking down at him. "So cute..."

The bat's ears twitched just as the clerk walked up with a box in his hands. It wasn't a very large box, only about the size of a show box. "Just give him one ounce of this every meal time. If you need more then you can call here."

I looked over, nodding and grabbing it with my free hand. "Alright, then...thank you."

The clerk nodded. "Very welcome sir."

I smiled, then turned to leave, then realized the sunlight might disturb my new pet, putting him in the breast pocket of my shirt, zipping up my jacket so he'd be in darkness

The little creature smiled and cuddled into the warmth, still sleeping.

I smirked. "He sure can sleep..." I mumbled, heading home and careful not to drop the box

Somewhere on the way home the little bat boy woke up. He was then confused why he could feel fabric around him, and why one wall was especially warm.

When he woke up, I was just barely turning on my street, pulling the keys out and letting myself in, putting the box on the table as I took off my jacket, deciding to check on the little guy

The bat boy squinted when light suddenly flooded his little dark warm place. His eyes tried to adjust but since they were bat eyes they didn't work very well so everything was a big blur.

I reached into the pocket, pulling him out and cupping my hands around him to create a darker area. "You okay?" I asked softly, my thumb gently stroking his back

One thing that quickly became apparent was how small and fragile the boy was. He was only a few inches tall for one thing, with little bones and a rapidly beating heartbeat. Even his wings were just a thin membrane that could easily be damaged. The only thing that wasn't fragile about him was his razor sharp teeth that sunk into your thumb.

I blinked, surprised at seeing how small he was, and how fragile...I'd have to be really careful with him around...I winced when he bit my thumb, trying to jerk it away. "Ow! What the heck?!" I hissed, trying not to hurt the little guy's hearing

Jerking your thumb away apparently wasn't the best idea as the teeth stayed in but were dragged back, causing the bite to become a pretty good sized cut. Luckily though, when you spoke it rattled the boy's over-sensitive bat ears and made him jump, dislodging his teeth.

I hissed again when the bite became a cut, but once he let go I pulled my thumb away. "Ow..." I muttered again, then sighed and looked down at him. "Why did you bite me like that...?"

"Y-You're not M-Mark." The tiny boy squeaked.

I frowned a bit. "Mark...? Oh, you mean the clerk at the pet store...no, I'm not Mark...my name is Ethan...I...I bought you..." I said softly

"Y-You what?" The boy said, stunned. "But I-I'm a vampire bat. I drink blood. Wh-Why would you buy me?"

I smiled softly. "Trust me, buying a vampire bat wasn't the weirdest thing I've ever done...besides...vampire bats don't drink THAT much blood...and Mark gave me a food supply for you...but...I THINK the bleeding thumb you gave me would work the same if you're hungry." I joked weakly, trying to lighten the mood

The small boy didn't catch on that you were joking and smiled. "Really? I...I am a little hungry." He said and started to lap up the blood with his tongue.

I blinked, surprised, then smiled softly and decided to hold my bleeding thumb closer to him. Besides...I was the one who'd suggested it, jokingly or not. "Here you go, then...just...please don't bite me again, alright~?"

The boy nodded. "I won't. I'm sorry for biting you in the first place." He said in between licks.

I smiled weakly. "It's alright...you didn't know me, and I was petting you...I deserved it..."

I nuzzled him gently. "It's okay now, alright? I know better, and you got a good meal out of it..."

"Desmo." The little bat answered. "U-Unless you don't like that name. You can change it if you want."

I nodded, petting him gently. "Yeah..."

"A lot of people aren't nice to me..." Desmo said.

Desmo nodded. "They all seem to think I want to suck their blood..."

I snorted. "That's not fair...besides, even if you DID, it'd only be a few ounces of it..."

"Yeah but I... I don't just go around trying to get blood like that. I don't like hurting people..." Desmo said.
