Melody smiled tentatively and Goth returned the gesture. They were both silent for a moment."We should return to Statue Haven," Melody said after a while.
Goth nodded. "Your friends will be wanting to know you're safe."
Melody looked at him—sadly?—before spreading her wings and flapping away. He heard another bat step up next to him.
Itzel sighed. "If you were waiting for the opportune moment," she said, "that was it."
Goth glanced at the departing Melody, then back at his sister. As usual...she was right.

My entry for 's Going Disney contest.
This scene reenactment is inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, when Will misses a pretty great opportunity to confess his love to Elizabeth. I chose this scene because 1. I've seen this movie many times, and 2. I get the feeling that Goth won't be very good at handling his feelings for Melody.
I was originally going to draw Throbb in Jack's place, but I wanted to draw Itzel, so now she's in this picture.

Oh my goodness- this scene! I remember it. x3 Itzel using Captain Jack Sparrow's line is a stroke of genius! She's sassy enough to deliver that line- and she's very brutally honest with her brother. xDDD Honestly, she works better than Throbb in my opinion. Great job in the coloring differences between the two! Also, great choice in background! I absolutely love it!!! I also love the look of regret on Goth's face. This will look amazing in slot #3!
