After what had happened Kena fell back into silence. She didn't know what to think.
Even getting the certificate, which should have been a proud moment, had felt hollow.
It was getting late and she yearned for the seclusion of her home, but it seemed this had to wait. The little sister of the spite hunter was missing. Normally she would tag along with Tenga to search for her together, but... She set off alone. Head hanging low and staring at the ground she distanced herself from her friend, hoping for silence to quench the turmoil in her heart and mind, and for the task to distract her.
