Many thanks to for the pictures at the Hyatt! It was a beautiful location!

as Candela, Leader of Team Valor, and
myself as Spark, Leader of Team Instinct, both from Pokemon Go!

So, about these costumes!... well long story short, we had other plans for the con, but the timing was really bad and we wouldn't have been able to wear the costumes even if we finished them for technical reasons. And the designs for the leaders just came out... so we went as the Leaders for our secret B Plan.

Candela is the most complicated pattern I've made up to now. The cuts, the asymetry and that wierd collar make it ridiculously complex. But I managed to make something out of it! And Jess looks so cool in it! She has sewn most of it (under my supervision because the pieces were a real puzzle. XD ) Spark wasn't so complicated, but I made sure of the details, like the asymetry of the pattern on the hoodie, and so on. In the end it was worth it, we won an honorable mention for tailoring at the masquerade. EXACTLY the prize we wanted. XDDDDD We also had fun at the convention, usually we plan much in advance, but a project of something popular while it's super new, while we're really into it, is a good thing once in a while.
