Mufasa turned to walk away from his brother but stopped.
"Why are you acting like this Taka? Is it because I'm going to be king and you aren't"
Taka just glared at his brother.
"Is it because they call you names? Is it because they make fun of you for going in the graveyard?"
Taka just glared. He wanted to yell at his brother yell at him about how it was his fault that he even went into the graveyard. How it was Mufasa's fault that the other cubs only saw him as second best. But he knew it was better to hold his tounge.
"Taka you are being so stupid! Stop acting like this, Scar!"
Mufasa froze. He looked back at his brother. He didn't mean to call him that. It just slipped out. The name that the other cubs called him and the name he hated.
It was then Taka spoke.
"So... even you call me that dear brother...You made a promise and you broke it. That is why I have changed. You are now perfect little Mufasa who can't do anything wrong. I am not even Taka anymore. They used to love me too. They used to see me as perfect and smart. Until the graveyard.... until this....this Scar!"
Taka hoped that his brother would feel sorry. He hoped that Mufasa would say he was sorry for calling him that name and for making him go into the gravyard. But Mufasa just glared back at him.
"It was a stupid promise Taka. It is impossible for us both to rule. Dad choose me not you! Just accept it Ta..."
"No, Taka is dead. He died back there in that graveyard. he died when you broke a promise. He died because of you. From now on I am Scar."
