Yang and Blake have been a couple for the past few months, going on dates whenever they can (having even some occasionals sexual encounters, even when they're supposed to be training).

Goku, noticing that Blake and Ren were focusing on having as many techniques as possible, took them to Konoha, as he had several friends in the village who could teach them various things that might interest them. During their time in Konoha, Blake and Ren learned things such as the nature of their chakra/ki, various summoning techniques, and various Jutsus, especially those having to do with their respective chakra/ki natures.

One of those days, Yang, Nora, and Raven arrived in Konoha, wishing to see the progress Blake and Ren had made (besides Yang and Raven already wanted to see Blake and Goku again respectively, and feeling their ki not being enough for them). Finding Goku, Blake, and Ren was not too difficult. These three were eating at Ichiraku Ramen together with Jiraiya and Kakashi. Teuchi's small restaurant had grown in recent years as the five nations had become public knowledge, with the villages often receiving tourists interested in the culture and stories of the villages and nations, which greatly helped the economy of the nations.

After eating some Ramen bowls (except for Goku who ate 9 bowls... and he wasn't supposed to be very hungry) and talking a bit about their trainings with Jiraiya and Kakashi, they decided to put what they had learned to the test in a battle far away from the village. Yang would face Blake and Nora to Ren.

During the battle, Blake and Ren showed something they learned from Jiraiya. The Sage Mode, which put their respective opponents in a lot of trouble, as this new mode, and the jutsus learned, gave them many surprises.

However, the fight dragged on, ending with a very excited Yang getting carried away, showing this by punching Blake that launch her to the ground, creating a big crater. Yang after the punch realized what she had done, flying at full speed towards the place where her girlfriend had fallen, hoping she hadn't messed up in a legendary way. To Yang's good fortune, Blake had managed to block the punch at the last moment, successfully withstanding it thanks to the Sage Mode.

Yang, worried and scared, helped Blake up from the ground, expecting the worst, but Blake was not upset, ending the moment with Yang laughing nervously and Blake wrapping her tail around her girlfriend's waist, ending up blushing, this scene being seen by Goku, Raven and Jiraiya.

But in an act of total innocence (or ignorance), Goku said....

Goku: Is it just me or are they getting too affectionate?
Jiraiya: ...
Raven: ...
Jiraiya: (To Raven) Is he serious or is he joking?
Raven: (Facepalm) Unfortunately, no. He's serious.
