I had 2 turtles a few years back... Splash and Wave... One escape via a cat's help... I figured he was a gonner... but wait... after 2 years I found him in the garage at the back door. He must have been outside the whole time just waiting to get back into the greenhouse. I finally set both of them free ... together in a creek close by. They were the small red ear variety that are illegal to sell in the states.Go figure. Bought them at the beach for the boys when they were small. Good memory.
