Hi everyone, how are you all doing?I know I usually post fully rendered illustrations in here, but school has been super hectic and I just don't have the time spend drawing heavily time consuming pieces.
So for this simple sketch I drew my OC formerly known as Seiko now known as Andromeda.
School Update ( skip this if you're not interested )
School has been consuming all my time and money, I basically eat cup noodles almost everyday and a small dinner every night, I'm not complaining or anything, just sharing my college life so far hehe, our class schedule isn't too heavy but working on subjects like Freehand and Anatomy is very time consuming, coming home late at night feels so draining but there are still some other tasks to be done so I got to keep myself awake somehow.
The internet at our our dorm isn't the best and during every afternoon it dies out and so I miss half of my class, I don't think I can do much about it, I don't have the power to control the wifi so I try not to get bothered by it too much. I have one maybe two classes that are heavy in note taking so to complete/take notes I go out of the room and sit my the stair case where for some reason has better signal, The Philippines internet connection doesn't really make sense, you gotta do what you gotta do to pass hehe.
Enough about college here is my new sketch/design of my old Highschool OC Seiko/Andromeda.
The name Andromeda came from the color palette in the center, It just looks like an Andromeda and I stuck with it.
My head is already set in using the center palette so maybe I'll do another simple sketch of her formal dress, it's not a sure thing since I don't really have free time to spare.
Andromeda/Seiko
( her backstory is still a work in progress, shes sort of a mary sue, but I'm going to do my best in giving her a better character story. )
- Andromeda, a princess from the empire of Stars and Constellations, she is docile, maybe a bit too gentle to become the next queen of the empire, In order to train her to become the next queen, her mother the queen decrees that she journey around the empire, learn the different customs of each city, learn how to lead, as well as become more outspoken when it comes to her ideas, thoughts and opinions on matters regarding personal and political matters. There are 5 major cities in the empire, each city sent their guides to accompany her to their respective cities and stay with her until the end of her journey. She excels in celestial magic, but despite being a princess of the entire empire she only excels in the celestial bodies of the major city, which us brings to the second reason as to why she is tasked to journey through the continent, to learn the cities celestial bodies, learn to manipulate them and by combining the knowledge of each city learn the skill of foretelling the future like every other royal member before her.
The original story for her was a bit too edgy so on the spot I changed most of the main points.
I want her story to be a coming of age story, add some romance here and there but I don't want it to be the main in her character development.
