Iterative drawing practice using an Aladdin sketch by Tom Bancroft tombancroft.deviantart.com/art… . I am trying to learn how to draw Disney characters and this exercise was to study the original artist sketch and approach it in different ways in order to understand how the image is created. After 15 sketches with the reference, the last sketch was drawn from memory. There's clearly more work to be done, but its possible to see some progress over just a handful of small sketches, without worrying too much about details at this stage.
