Description The 5th planet in the solar system.
It's the largest planet in the solar system.
Like by far! Do you think the planet we all live on is big? Well guess what... Your right!
But also you are so so SO wrong!
Because Jupiter's size is 318X as massive!
A.k.a Jupiter's size is 2.5x as massive as every single other planet in the solar system combined into one! It's huge.
The Great Red Spot on Jupiter is a huge storm that has been going on for centuries.
It was found in the 17th century.
Also about earlier I said that Earth is big but also small compared to Jupiter well... How about just The Great Red Spot?
It's slightly bigger than Earth!
It has 79 confirmed moons around it!
63 of them aren't that interesting and are just 10 miles long at longest so who cares about them if only 3 of its moons are bigger than our own moon? And also one of its moons is as big or maybe even bigger than Mercury!
Jupiter is an insane planet but a failure for a star despite its incredible size.
Jupiter would actually be a star if it had at least 70x more mass than it currently has.
Around 12 Earth years is 1 year on Jupiter.
Which is around 4331 days on Earth.
