Excellent rendering!
What tools did you use? Tablet, PS etc.? I'm trying to decide if I should by a digital tablet, Bamboo, Intuos, iPad, etc. Or just stick with the old school pencil/pen & paper for children's books illustrations.

I didn't use a tablet, to be precise I never use a tablet though I own one (Wacom Bamboo which is quite moderate in price and just perfect for amateur users, I would say) but I keep it in its original box

alles klar soweit. Im Moment habe ich auch keine Probleme mit der Muse.
Keine geklauten Artworks bei dir? Das Problem ist einfach auch, dass man mit steigender Qualität und Popularität größere Angriffsfläche für "Art thieves" bietet

nee, überhaupt nicht im Moment, aber ich hab drei Bilder fertig, die ich in nächster Zeit mal reinstelle.
Wenn man keine Zeit hat, bleibt bei dem Stress auch Spaß und Inspiration auf der Strecke leider.
Und ja, auf Watermarks hab ich auch keine Lust. Ich find auch die Leute ulkig, die aus Angst beklaut zu werden winzige 400*400 Bildchen hier reinstellen.

drei Bilder 
Ja, meistens machen gerade solche Leute die größten Wasserzeichen auf Bilder, die sowieso nicht geklaut werden

xD eins davon hab ich schon im Dezember fertig gemacht, die anderen beiden sind von Februar/März, wo ich Ferien hatte... außerdem muss ich sagen, dass die Bilder, die ich im Februar und Januar hier hochgeladen hab, auch alle schon älter waren. Das ist eine endlose Kette.

dann hast du also einen riesigen Fundus an Werken, die du der Welt vorenthalten willst 
Ich habe auch noch ein, zwei Bilder im 'Archiv', die ich noch nicht hochgeladen habe und vielleicht auch nie hochladen werde, weil ich sie höchstwahrscheinlich sowieso bald wieder lösche

I like the concept of this, not sure what the symbolism means though. The flames are outside of the mirror, so perhaps others see the flames and the person here is just now noticing they are there... flames of desire? Anger? Destruction? Passion? Lots of possibilities there.

the flames are a symbol os destruction of course. They're slowly destroying the image you have of yourself and if you look closely, the woman in the mirror is watching her own reflection being eaten up by the flames...
