This stems from a conversation I was having. I almost never bother tracing anything, and that's really just laziness on my part, as it can be a useful part of workflow. I don't think there's anything else in my gallery that is traced. But, if I ever did need it, this is how I'd be going about it.

This tutorial covers how tracing can be used without losing any integrity. It's simply a tool, like anything else, and shouldn't be a crutch.

It's also a personal post about many of my thoughts as I draw, and how I plan my images.
