Appearance: slender but not scrawny,upper built-ish, sharp dark eyes and usually a mellow laid back expression. Not much of a shouter,has trouble with math. His hair is also black and spiked/messy in the back. Average height,considered the quiet type and understands most jokes but doesn’t know how to respond to them.

Description: This quirk allows the user to make “thorns” appear from any part of their body, usually the arms. The thorns can range from the size of the person’s finger to their whole hand. It is hard and sharp,mostly considered a weapon, of actually broken it will bleed, kind of like horns? They emerge black and the closer it is to the skin the more it is the skin tone. Very sharp and considered dangerous.

Baseline: Can leave deadly wounds and impale/snag attacker. If falling of something the person can use the thorn to hold on to the wall. Is good for close range battle.

Positives: sturdy, sharp, can make big enough to potentially block an attack, light weight to user, good for close range attack.

Negatives: Easy to harm when not meaning to,if overused can have bad consequences, dangerous when emotions slip, not a very showy quirk

Biggest drawback: When overused or damaged the thorn will bleed, which can definitely cause blood loss. If used to long then it will make welts on the skin in place of the thorn, caused bad cramps.

History:
Baby- parents didn’t want him so have him to his grandparents
Childhood- easygoing, use to get poked at for not having a normal family, hanged out with grandparents and they told him how cool his quirk was, wanted to be a hero
Pre-teen- middle school years, had PE the whole time and took boxing to release some anger. Grandparents moved into nursery home,he joined them, good bond with one lady there who takes care of his grandparents, stares to become distant when grandfather is sick
Adolescent- promised them to become a hero, gets adopted by said lady after grandpa passes, takes care of new little sister, she makes him smile and open up, promises he’ll be the best hero he can be

Extras- though he is a laid back character(kind of reminds me of Todoroki) he has a huge soft spot for his family, when he made the promise he lives by it, no matter what it takes he wants to become someone he knows his grandparents would be proud of.
