It has been said that you learn something with almost every hammer blow the first time you make an object, less with the next 90 times you make it.

Then after your 100th you look back at the first thing you made and see all the little taps you could make to improve it, many of which you didn't know were even needed.

it is the same with teaching. With practice learn to do less, better, and watch the person learn.
