Description the leather from a sheath I made around a decade ago, and its replacement. I'll probably rivet some more bronze onto the edges. The suspension points are chosen to help me experiment with ways of hanging it.

The earliest example in Britain I can think of is on the St Andrews Sarcophagus, but then there are other stone carvings, and leather finds from Jorvik (which the tooled design Inhave used is based on and Dublin).
