Sorry bout the small size, its for a larger drawing.I really wanted to pay more attention to drawing her face, so her hair and attire are not as detailed.
* I did draw this myself, I get alot of e-mails asking if I draw my work and the answer is always YES.

LOL! I feel so sorry for all the people drooling over your skills.... it sure is a manipulated photo - a couple of filters and effects in photoshop, nothing more. anyone could do that.
Want to prove to the whole wide world that you in fact drew it? Post a full size version. Show us some details, brush strokes, anything. Until you do that - no one who has any idea about photoshop and who saw the original photo is going to believe you.

To be precise, I personnally like the way you show her tiniest traits like the way she smiles and the details around her mouth and her eyes... It's beautiful really! The look she has on her face is so like Arwen or rather like Miss Tyler! You know, looking innocent and with a glint in the eyes but with a spark of wisedom and the weight of her age showing in it too... that's beautiful! ^^

It's terrible to see that people seek to bring others down, accusing them of "art theft/ripping/painting over." I disapprove of those activities, simply because the manner they're carried out in is unprofessional and inconsiderate, regardless of whether or not they have a just case.
But from a close look at what you've done, I can say that it's no trace/copy/photosample. Surprise, if people actually put time into their work, they can get it looking very close to their reference image.
Was your original work resolution at 300 dpi or so? It's hard to get sharp details in on anything lower.
