some Tolkien fanart... painted in PS 6 with the trusty mouse... this has taken me all night (who needs sleep anyway.) im am pretty pleased with the outcome...

Looks very nice, but I hate what the movies have done to the image of the literature... I hate Hollywood popularization. Very nice piece of work though.

some of the brushstrokes seem a little soft/unfinished. parts of the face have nice detail, i think i'd like to see the rest refined a bit more. but what you have here looks good. i like the water dripping of his hat...
