the button eyes were suppos'ta symbolize close-mindedness
my PERSONAL take on the line between emo and goth is this
emos = preps in black
goth = smexy outcast
why do i think this way, you ask? well little chicken, it's because 80% of the kids @ my middle skool (I actually know how to spell school, kay? -_-) wear black combat boots, colored skinny jeans, those gothy Jrock tees, and all the things i would buy if i wasn't so poor! (excluding frilly & flat tutus) but when i try to interact with them, there extreme mental retardation and preppy behavior get so nauseating i puke up a little in my mouth >_< (like the 8th grader who didn't know what the word "resume" meant!) i see them as "emos" and the people the "emos" and preeps alike pick on as "goths" so that's that, the end
