Description dont really like this one but i like the story behind it so w/e

It was late afternoon, and Tori had just got done with a particularly frustrating mission. She was utterly convinced that G.U.N. was trying to make a jab at her driving habits. Her last few missions were all about driving, but very, very carefully. It drove her up the wall.

In an attempt to soothe her nerves, she made a pilgrimage to several of her favorite eateries. Hands full with nuggets, french fries, chicken, and shrimp, she ambled her way up to the roof of the apartment building. What she was expecting was the sunset's creamy gradient of harvest gold and scarlet, shyly trailing across to embrace the lavender and violet of twilight. What she wasn't expecting was the scent of a familiar hedgehog on the wind and a silhouette obscuring her view of said sunset.

She walked over, making her steps loud so that he'd notice her presence. His ears flicked in her direction, but he made no movement to turn and face her.

"I could've totally shoved you off the edge, you know." She sat next to Shadow, who was seated on the edge of the rooftop. She sat in a similar fashion to him, letting her legs dangle over the ground below.

"But I knew you wouldn't." The smell of fast food heaven drifted up to his nose, but he still made no move to acknowledge her.

"But I coulda." The pygmy goat opened up a bag and set it behind her so that it wouldn't plummet to the street below. She munched on chicken nuggets. "I should've, that would've been hilarious." Her eyes flickered to him for a brief moment, making note of his twitching nose.

"I would have killed you." Shadow's eyes flickered to her this time, making note of her wily grin.

"You would have played yourself, because I want to die, so like, double win for me. Double lose for you, because I know you cant live without me." Her reply was playful yet curt. "You hungry?"

He stayed silent, so she pulled a nugget out of the box and waved it around in front of him. His frown loosened up, so she shoved the nugget in his mouth. "You're hungry, and I'm nice, so I'll share my goodies with you. You're welcome." She didn't mention the fact that she was counting how many calories she'd purchased and realized she'd end up as big as house if she ate them all.

The hedgehog didn't protest, either. He chewed, albeit slowly, and continued looking out over the city. She followed suit. As she ate, she rambled on about stuff that she hoped he might find interesting. Her meandering stories soon turned to roasts, and Shadow couldn't help but scoff and chuckle at some of her lines-- especially ones picking apart the blue hedgehog. He found himself digging into her food as much as she was, until there was only one fry carton left.

"Dibs!" She swiped the box from the bag, and munched on a couple of fries. His gaze hardened a little bit and she caught the subtle change. "But I'll be kind and share this one, too." Passing the occasional french fry from hoof to gloved hand, she continued on with her rant. With few fries left, she trailed off, running out of things to complain about and witty ways to insult them.

There were two fries left. Picking one up, she handed it to him. "Here's the last fry. Take it." He was going to, before she shifted and the real last fry shifted in the carton. He said nothing, only shot her a deadpan gaze. After letting loose a sigh, she stuffed the fry into her mouth and handed him the last fry.

Embarrassed by her mistake and glancing away, she spoke, "You got me, fair and square. You can have the last one. The real last one."

She missed the rare smile that flashed on his face.
