It's a bit cliche by now... but yeah.
The more I think about her character design though, in retrospect, her design is so simple, I guess that's another reason why I find her the easiest to draw. Whenever I draw characters, most of their design comes as spontaneous at first, but eventually, their character traits slowly becomes a part of their visual design. So with Reina, I've always set her history to bear a lot of scars, physically and emotionally. Her darker skin alluding to the island she was born in; the length of her hair signifying her being unable to move forward from her past. Her blue dress is also something that's significant to her person, just as she lacks a sense of self-preservation, let alone her being fussed by her own appearance. I'd imagine her to appear more 'scruffy', but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to draw dirt on people xD
I can't blame anyone for thinking her as a Marysue. She might be. But she's still a beloved, comfort character of mine.
And once more, I can't draw foreshortened hands. even with the csp 3d model aid, I still can't draw them for the life of me
