Who is boxhead?

Boxhead is very mysterious, so mysterious in fact that the writer doesn’t know what to do with him yet. But a few details are known with relative certainty:

Boxhead claims to have modeled himself after a character in a book, who in turn modeled himself after a character from a book within the book. No known copies exist of the book in question except for the one in Boxhead’s possession. One theory suggests that the book is from the future, and is in fact a biography of Boxhead himself, (which would make his life a causality loop), while another theory suggests that the book is blank, and that Boxhead is simply insane.

The box which Boxhead wears does not appear to have any eye holes, but upon closer examination has many small holes punched into the black lines of the drawn in face. However even with the holes, visibility would still be quite low, yet Boxhead nonetheless moves about quite gracefully for a man with a box on his head.

A childhood dream of Boxhead’s was to be a sideshow performer, juggling and throwing knives, sword swallowing, breathing fire, contorting, that sort of thing. He decided early on to forego sword swallowing, and due to the cardboard box on his head he generally avoids fire altogether. He is quite good at juggling and throwing knives however, and claims to be so good he can even do so blindfolded. Due to a lack of hyper-extensions, his range as a contortionist is limited, though he is still incredibly flexible, this combined with gymnast like agility and his skill with knives make him a dangerous enemy is close combat.
