Another shot of Sword in Progress 2 (SiP2), I've once again placed it next to the other sword to give a better size comparison than just the quarter, while hammering it down I received a mixed blessing in the form of about an inch breaking off at the end. The end breaking was unfortunate in that it was annoying, but fortunate in that it brought the proportions just about where they needed to be. Because of how much thicker this blade is from the last, I decided to use a file to shape it instead of the whetstone, as doing so would have destroyed the stone. The reduced size of the blade has allowed me to remove the guard, and I have thus been able to reshape and polish that as well. Still not finished.
