Anti and Cross are from am earlier time in Paradise, being the first hero and caretakers.
Cross was cocky, and was confident, which lead to his eventual demise, as the tree took that title from him.
Anti lost it upon that happening, and he was sealed away.
This picture takes place before their descent, when the two of them are exhausted.
