I paint standing up or sitting down with my portrait flat on the table. My table is actually a big cardboard box I’ve painted with cool collages and then my son accidentally stepped on this canvas before I could use it do it had a big tear in the top right. I decided to make it my base I’d paint from. So I sat this on top of the box and then when I would paint I’d set the canvas I was painting on top of this. After a couple of years and a couple hundred paintings I decided it was time to start a new one. I believe
It has over five pounds of paint on it and it’s incredibly thick and heavy. My son and I shot a metal bb at it and it wouldn’t go through the canvas!
