This is such a lovely shot... I think that the fact you had just started dating these lips is evident in the shot as well - it's like something we're not supposed to be able to see. Like glimpsing a deeper, more sensual connection before one has been fully acknowledged. The object in the mirror still seems a little untouchable. The perspective on the photo has us standing outside of her vision, so it's like she doesn't know we're there in an almost voyeuristic kind of way, and by focusing in such a way highlights that 'She' is not just the only one we see, but the only one we want to see. I think it's absolutely gorgeous and portrays in every way to me that the absence of passion, is the absence of art: and this is art.
