Behind your back, I compare you to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. You don't realize though, when you become Mr. Hyde, you slip silently into another person; wordlessly, unexpectedly, and you become a monster, but that is only in the dead of night, when we fight our petty arguments about stupid things.

Oh, but in the day, in the public eye, how you are such a sweet man, Dr. Jekyll. Smart and sophisticated, you have no recollection of the Mr. Hyde monster that you turn into when we fight. You don't remember anything you said, all the hurtful things you say, how you escilate the fight to the point where I can't breathe you're choking me with the words, your words, your angry fighting words.

And once you've fought and the sun comes up you slip silently "I'm sorry baby" you say and I forgive you, Dr. Jekyll, though I know Mr. Hyde will be back tomorrow night.
