Bio: The Steam-Punks is a motorcycle gang unlike any other; they are themed after trains and steampunk culture. The group was founded by a man named Emmett Cannon, a former train engineer and inventor. He was charismatic, passionate, and eccentric, and he inspired and united the group. Emmett also had a vision and a dream: to create and ride the ultimate steampunk train that would be stronger, faster, and more powerful than any train hi history. He would call it the Steam-Roller. He spent years financing and building it with help from his close friends. He nicknamed them Boiler, Piston, Valve, Gauge, and Caboose.
When the Steamroller was complete, they decided to travel up and down America's east coast, gathering others that shared their love of trains and adventure, dressing them up in steampunk attire and engaging in acts of terror. They developed a strong bond of friendship & comradery.
They soon caught the attention billionaire industrialist Warren Boonedocker, the CEO of Los Angeles-based Boonedocker Industries. His company was involved in various secret illegal & unethical activities such as illegal arms dealing. Boonedocker himself was a corrupt, evil-minded, malevolent and ruthless man who wanted to expand his wealth. Seeing potential in them and liking the Steamroller, he offered them weapons and protection from authorities in exchange for doing "favors" for him, like attacking the businesses of rival billionaire Jerome Steele of Delta City-based SteelCorp. The Steam-Punks agreed. So, the gang began attacking and robbing various locations that were related to SteelCorp. As such, they became more violent and ruthless, and they lost most of their moral values. They also became flashier and rowdier and enjoyed the fame and fortune.
Naturally, their attacks on SteelCorp drew the attention of the superhero Titanium Titan (secretly Thomas Steele, Jerome Steele's son). Angry over the attacks on his dad's business, the Titan's first order of business was to destroy something they loved--the Steam-Roller. He smashed it to pieces right in front of Emmett. This infuriated him and promised to make him pay. So, the gang made their way to Delta City.
As such, the Steam-Punks became dangerous enemies of the Titanium Titan. Cannon eventually rebuilt the Steam-Roller better than ever and the group would have various clashes with the Titan as they terrorize Delta City. T.T. does put a few of them away, but they don't stay there for long thanks to some powerful & dangerous friends. The gang has become mercenaries often hired by some of the wealthier & sinister people in the world such as Jessica Hudson, Harrison Crittenden, Fashona Van Pelt and Arthur Black as well as supervillains Dr. Brain, Chessman, and Madame Mechanov for jobs that don't require finesse.
Despite their villainous activities, the steam-Pinks maintain a strong sense of camaraderie. They are more than a gang--they are a family, bound by their shard love of the open road and their defiance of the law. Their story is a testament to the power of unity, even in the face of adversity. But it is also a reminder of the chaos and destruction thant can ensue when such unity is used for nefarious purposes.
