Description

It's been a few weeks since classes have started again in the University,
Taron's phone rings at night, it is fairly late for a call, specially one from his mother. He is alarmed and is quick to pick the phone up.
He notices his mother's voice seems sad, she does not sound okay. Still she tells him "I'm fine" after he asks whats going on, but continues to add an explanation of what had happened just a couple hours before. His brother, Hover, had taken away her and his father's quirk during an interview with magazine journalists in their house and then disappeared.

"Your father was desperate." she mentioned, as they couldn't stop or fight back against Hover for their powers, since they had lost practice on defending themselves without the use of their quirks. A couple hours later they received the notice that Hover had made a second attack, taking the quirk of a olympic sprinter that lived in the city. Soon both incidents would appear on the news and she needed to inform Taron of the events before he woke up to the confusing information on media.

"I'm worried about you." she said, claiming that maybe Hover could try to come for Taron's quirk as well, and take away his future. "Me and your father are already retired, our quirks don't matter that much, but you my son, you have so much to lose... be careful." she pledged. But somehow, Taron was scared, something in him knew that Hover would never come for him, he knew how much his quirk meant to him...he would never...right?

After the news, a new chapter begins for Taron. Will he submit to fear and prepare himself for the possibility or ignore the threat?
