Description
Hi! This is somehow a next part of my previous deviation. It shows all significant political blocks in my alternative universe. So, the three main enemies are:1. Organisation of Free Nations (OFN) - Founded by USA in 1957, after the great Suez Crisis. After the assasination of Gamal Nasser, the president of Egypt USA, Chinese Republic and Persian Empire decided to end frendly contacts with European colonial powers, and create their own alliance. Soon, the American sphere of influence sized on entire Middle America, Marokan Kinkhdom, Filipines, Kinghdom of Irak, Israel, Pakistan, Ethiopian Empire and Egipt. What's more, the Japanese sphere and Argentinian also cooperate with USA. OFN show itself as an allience of independent, democratic nations, that wants to stop both communism and colonialism. Altough USA is the nominal leader of this organisation, it has the weakest form of defence against communism. In fact, only USA has fully functional democratic system...
2. Entente's Union of Defence nad Prosperity (EUDP) - De jure founded in 1946, to protect Europe against communism and the remnants of Nazi's regime. De facto the real year of birth of this block is 1958, after the Suez Crisis. With USA gone, the European Powers had to quickly organised the rest of anti communist alliance into an entire new, independent organisation. So, in 1958 sixteen states signed a foundation act of EUDP. The organisation is lead by the British Empire and French Fourth Republic. It consist of nearly entire Europe and colonies and dominions of colonial powers, making it the largest political block in the world. Their main ally is the Brazilian bloc in the South America. While it is the biggest, it's also the most decentralised allience from the entire great three - only colonial powers are interested in the affairs in Africa and Asia. States like Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Yugoslavia are mainly interested in defence against communism in Europe. This block has also the most diverese political ideologies between it's members - From liberal democracy in Danemark, to neo facist Italian Kinghdom.
3. The Leningrad Pact (LP) - Founded in 1947. It is the alliance of the communist states of the world - it's also the smallest block of the great three, but considered as the most dangerous. The members are: USSR, Finish Democratic Republic, Romanian People's Republic, Afghan Islamic Socialist Republic, Mongolian People's Republic, Indochina's Soviet Federation and Cuban People's Republic. Even tough it's still comunist pact that force milions of people to live in the worst system ever, it's different from Warsaw Pact from OTL - because the lack of Stalin and the lead of tavarich Kirov, the Leningrad Pact is somehow more "liberal" when it comes to rulling the communist state - nearly every member of the pact has it's own version of communist ideology - For example the Soviet Union represents "Realistic Socialism" (They even have a weak parlament), Finland is basicly authoritarian social demorcacy with nearly six communistic and socialist political parties, Romania is basicly military dictatorship with communistic symbolism and Mongolia has a strange ideology that is the mix of buddism and communism. This block has no allies.
Smaller alliances:
1. "The Thriumvirate" - the alliance between Italian Kinghdom, Turkish Reublic and Iberian Union, created in 1946 because of the isolation of Italy and Iberian Union (Because of facist remnants) and Turkish concflict with France (The case of Siria that became the autonomus protectorate of Turkey). After 1958 and the consolidation of European block, this alliance is basicly not active, altough the three states still have very frendly relations, and always support each other.
2. "The Asian Sphere of Prosperity and Developement" - de jure it's part of OFN. De facto, it's separate block with the Japanese Empire as the leader. Because of more "soft" defeat (The Japanese Empire was defeated, but not completely destroyed like in OTL. Their situation is somehow similiar to Germany after WW I), the Japanese Empire started to rebuilt itself and in the end of 50's Japan was ready to became a great power again. This time, Japan decided to use diplomacy and economy over the military force (which was reduced after the war). Through frendly regimes and economic contracts, Japan created in 1959 her own political block, that supports OFN... for now.
3. Union of Independent States of Latin America - Political block of Argentina. Their main ideology is Peronism. Argentina thanks to the German advisors who escaped from Europe after the War became one of the greatest powers in South America. It was created in 1955. They support OFN because of Argentinian conflict with Britain over Falkland Islands.
4. South American Treaty Pact - The leader is Brazil. This pact was created in 1956 to stop the Argentinian influence over South America. Because of the conflict between Argantina nad Britain, they support Europe.
I hope you'll find this interesting
