Hi ja allIt's ben a while sins I posted here, and sins it's soon my 1 year birthday here on DA and
a lot of ppl have ben kind enough to take the time to look at my stuff, give me comments, writhe
Me notes and e-mail, so I figured I'd better get my act together and drop the magnolias for a while.

A Wacom Intolus (www.wacom.com , or something like that)
Photoshop 7.0 (just the ordinary stuff, no special brushes, textures, filters or photos)
I have a tutorial here on DA that you can download if you feel like it.
40 cups of tea (at least)
Depeche mode
no drugs except for very large amounts of chocolate

Anyhoo... I love it, very original. Even when compared to your other works, it stand out. This is what I was talking about so long ago when I said your work needs a breath of freshness.
Though, maybe Im just happy to see some more of your traditional art after so long
I especially like the heart. I like that while its in the traditional 'V' heart shape, it still looks like a bodily organ. Thats simply amazing and very unique. It was the first thing I noticed about the image.
Of course, there's the usual "I love your style, coloring, composition, etc" comments, but I figured you already know all that

oh damn saga this was definately worth the wait. raw and emotion, just the way i like it. amazing emotion in this one, the message definately gets across. the markmaking is there as usual. the detail in the heart rocks, especially since the heart is the symbol, and yet...it's still realistic enough. happy bday, much love

Förutom bilden i helhet, så tycker jag att själva hjärtat är väldigt välgjord, och kontrasten mot omgivningens färglöshet och hejdande ger ett väldigt smärtsamt intryck. Jag vet inte riktigt hur jag ska tolka trådarna som går under hjärtat, men de kompletterar på något sätt känslan av att vara hindrad eller gömd och obemärkt.

Cool. Hjärtat är riktigt snyggt gjord. Mycket. Ser ganska våldsam ut på ett sätt, med alla trådarna sådär hårt fastsatta. Plus posen, med armarna rakt utåt. Vore riktigt häftigt att se ett ansikte till den här, men den är helt klart otrolig redan. Som alltid.
