Wiki says gay male birds usually steal the eggs from straight couples, but I read somewhere else they also adopt abandoned eggs and hatchlings. Otherwise, they’ll try to breed a round stone or something similar. Poor guys. u.u But when the stone is replaced by an egg, for example in zoos, they’ll get the baby hatched and raised. <3

This whole procedure of course doesn’t apply to mammals, who tend to be a little more clingy when it comes to their babies. But some people just can’t learn from books. XD
