Is it still "speed painting" if it took me ages to finish? = PIt was an interesting way to work in any case, less technical than my usual method with heaps of layers. ^^
The inspiration for this was the bit in the fifth Ace Attorney episode, where Phoenix says he would like to take a nap on Edgeworth's sofa.

Ahh...this picture brings back the fond memories of the High Prosecutor's Office, and the fantasy Ema described in great length and detail of Edgeworth sleeping in his office--while Edgeworth is standing right there, no less. XDD I could just imagine Edgeworth and Phoenix exchanging interesting looks throughout that entire bit of comedy...
But onto the picture: first of all I love the fact that Miles is using Phoenix's sleeping body as a table for his books (intimidating legal text, no doubt. As a matter of fact the green book at the top of the Phoenix pile looks a lot like my mom's copy of Black's Law Dictionary o.o). I also love the amazing detail you put into the painting: you've made the High Prosecutor's office even more fancy-looking and elegant than it was in the game--like a room out of Versailles, even. Very excellent.

Yes, that was so funny... ^_^ I think I re-clicked the Examine button a few times just to read it again. First I thought it was entirely Phoenix' daydreaming, 
I actually don't own any law books, except the "Buergerliches Gesetzbuch", and that's plain white paperback. XD And yeah, I had to improvise a little to make the room look interesting - the screen art doesn't show much from this angle.

Well just because Ema was the one saying it doesn't mean Phoenix wasn't treated to the mental images is what I say. 
My mom went to law school for a while so she has a couple textbooks, which now sit beside my computer. Even if they cannot help me all that much with my PW fanfiction, but I like to flip through them just for the sake of learning a bit about a new subject. 
Yes, B/Beyond Birthday is from Death Note too.

This picture is awesome! I knew I wasn't the only one who grinned with fangirl glee when Phoenix said that. Wonderful job! I love the way you took time to put texture on the walls. It kind of reminds me of those really fancy Greek or Italian restaurants.

The fifth case is the best. I missed Maya hanging around with Phoenix a bit, they're priceless as a team. But Ema wasn't bad either. ^^
