Description
THIS SUBMISSION IS A PREVIEWHere is the deal:
Assume that you work at light-stuff producing company.
You just received an email from your fellow designers/engineers with a geometry file (.obj) and they want you to make a nice eye-candy catchy render. But, it's not that easy. Model is 100% physically correct (I have one sample laying on a desk in front of me right now), and so they want you to make a more or less physically correct lighting setup.
Use your imagination- lights are never as simple as just plain point spot light without shadow and stuff, search in net what do photographers use, how to make a nice background with a piece o virtual paper
GI is a must!
Send a note with link to final render- being a nice advertisement (use your imagination, give some kinky brand names and logos
Model is made in that way that you need absolutely no textures, only plain materials so you can spend more time on lighting this thingy. Oryginally it is white plastic for housing, black electric pins holders, and shade is semi-transparent (should be a bit bumped; I used to much bump in my render...)
Have fun!
Lighting-Challenge club has my permission to use this however they want to.
(there are some million years old patents to this design, so keep in mind it might still belong to somebody)
