"The Knowing" is completed. It's my most surreal drawing I have ever done and I had a hell of a lot of fun doing it. I find with this piece it looks different under various lighting in warm lamp light it looks light a early morning or dusk scene But in window light like the picture your seeing it looks a lot more dark more mysterious.I really liked the Fabriano Black Black it accepted so many layers I made some mistakes thru out this drawing and I was able to correct them easily and I thank the paper for that. It has a medium texture and isn't too rough or too smooth which made it perfect. When I first felt the paper it felt much smoother but as I worked on it I started noticing more texture than I anticipated and I was pleasantly surprised about that. Overall, this paper is the best I have ever tried and even though this is m y first drawing on black paper I have to say it's my new favorite surface. Towards the end of the drawing I realized I could have worked a little bit faster and it would have been okay.
I would love to hear what you have say about this drawing and anything I can improve on in the future.
