So... yes. Mom's birthday is here and for it I decided to draw her basset hound, Penny. It was based on this: [link] with a bit of my own spin, first time Ive tried doing that in awhile. I like the result although sadly it did not scan as well as I would have liked. Ah well.Its also proof Im alive!
*chuckles* Took me I think about 3 hours or so from sketch to ink to color? Anyways... I hope she likes it too. *nods* Hope she has a good one and whatnot.

d'awwww basset hound! Those are such cute dogs. Haven't been around them enough to figure a general personality, but they're fun and silly. Very cute, and I hope your mom has a good one
