Not only they're training Charles during the day, they're also training at night to track down some critters. Cliff was also part of Charles' training to sniff out the scent, so he can have fun with him. Cliff would run and climb up a tree while Charles was locked on to his scent, he managed to find him on a branch. Lincoln and his sisters are proud of Charles to pass the trailing test and they thanked Cliff for being a good help and played as a thief for taking a fake chicken. As usual, Charles thanked Cliff for his help and gave him a noogie on the head.

Note: Cliff makes that look on his face, because he's pretending to be a chicken thief and got treed by the hound dog.
