Here we have are the comparison with Sparky and Persephone from the 1984 live-action short and the animated movie remake. Sparky had a brindle blanket from his head and shoulders to his hind legs and tail, minus the sewn patch on his lower back in the live-action and in the animated version, he's white with black ears and tail. As for the Poodle, she didn't have a name in the original and now in the animated version, she is named "Persephone". Persephone in the live-action version had a similar hairstyle like "The Bride of Frankenstein" at the end and the animated version, she received it her trademark hairstyle when her nose touched the bolt on Sparky's neck and cause an electric shock. That's when she received her trademark hairstyle as the Bride of Frankenweenie.
