While Thomas was waiting at the signal, Chip 'n Dale showed up and wanted to go for a ride. Dale was getting impatient with the signal to turn green, Chip reminded him that patience is a virtue and it's important to be safe. This cause Dale to start right into an argument with Chip. Poor Thomas was getting fed up with their argument as they're arguing with each other. So, he blew his whistle loud to get them to stop arguing and they did right away as he told them that they should get along. Chip 'n Dale knew that he's right, there was no use to argue about the signal or anything else as they apologized to each other and thanked Thomas for a reminder of their friendship. When the signal is green, they went on their way as the two chipmunks put their arms on each of their shoulders and Thomas puffed happily along on the rails.
