I've wanted to draw a map for the region in my Fallout: Equestria spin-off story, To Bellenast ( www.fimfiction.net/story/36952… ), for years now, and I finally bothered to attempt it!
I'm not great at drawing; that much should be obvious. That said, making this was a ton of fun. You don't need a ton of artistic skill to make a halfway decent map, at least if you're okay with a rudimentary result. You just need a pencil and paper, a bit of time and patience, maybe a straightedge, and, for bonus points, you might want to know how rivers do and don't flow before you start adding all those fun, squiggly tributaries.
