I’ve been meaning to do a ref sheet for Antoine for some time now so here it is, a reason to procrastinate. School is making me a bit tired, hopefully I can get myself back on track soon u_u

His last name is… something I just couldn’t get out of my head. Third of my characters have MEANINGFUL NAMES, third have “x would be a really dumb name for character like this haha lets choose it” names and the last third is characters who just look or feel like their name is x and trying to re-name them would feel wrong or would require further tweaks to their design. I don’t know why this is.

I’m aware of the fact that France doesn’t exist on Azeroth and I agree that some people might find if in poor taste to give your character a French surname, but on the other hand we have orcs speaking in Austrian accent so to me Warcraft works more on “what’s cool” than “what makes 100% sense” so if Blizzard really thinks cool/funny trumps “makes absolutely sense in lore” I don’t think players should be expected to do anything else ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ language in WoW usually makes no sense, even when one is aware of the story/gameplay segregation.

Also I don’t even RP in-game you ain’t gonna run into me when you’re doing some srs ass rp anyway lol

Anyway about Antoine, he’s upper-class asshole who was part of a rich family before his death. Probably hung out with same people who hung out with Barov’s at one point, but Antoine actually doesn’t give a shit about wealth. Don’t think it’s because he gives as hit about people - it’s more because the only thign he really cares about his hunting some really dangerous game.

He is extremely cool and calculative and if he had a girl-/boyfriend he would score all of the kichiku megane points. All of them.

He is extremely self-serving but not actually that hard to get to work on your “good” cause; you just need to convince him it’s the best course of action and gives him the best outcome. Unlike many people with various personality disorders Antoine is very much capable of thinking far ahead and he is not really impulsive at all. But this doesn’t mean he’s less of a scary asshole with personality faults. I mean. He likes skinning worgen alive.
