I've wanted to draw Beriith and Val more, especially interacting... I plan on continuing their comic soon™ but it's gonna be a while until I can show them being, like, casually friendly with each other...
Anyway I doodled something. I wanted to a) draw more of these characters and b) kinda streamline my progress so I can be faster when working, esp. with full bodies. I'm actually very, very slow when drawing full body artwork and feel like I struggle with keeping my forms "balanced" and want to work on that.

In any case, if you're still here and interested, I have some small explanations for each sketch:

"Tail". Beriith is generally very stone-faced and doesn't emote that much (it's part stoic personality and part anxiety disorder/ptsd that affects his expressiveness... he has never been expressive, but he would be more so if he, like, felt better.) But he does emote on with his tail, and you can pretty easily learn to read his moods based on what his tail is doing. Val finds this very funny.

"Problem". Tfw you're supposed to be sleeping but can't because you're having trouble applying Amneth's Equation to your problem, but the numbers don't match, the result is wrong, the data is bad and you're running out of your favorite energy drink flavor (green apple.)

"Blood". Beriith's blood is bright blue. That's it. Send post.

"Hooves". Hoof-health is important, and Beriith has to trim or clip his hooves for maintenance once in a while. He always has clippers or a hoof knife on him for basic hoof maintenance.

"Glasses". I thought Val would be cute if I gave her reading glasses. So now she has reading glasses.

"Snow". "Well, I think it looks like someone I know..."
Val lives in a region where yearly snowfall is usually like 5 cm tops, so while she has experience with snow, she doesn't really have experience with snow. I kinda tried to make her outfit look like it's been just pulled together in layers instead of being a super fashionable winter outfit. Beriith, on the other hand, is from way northern region of their world, and while these days he travels the world a lot, it never feels like a proper winter to him unless it's dark 20 hours a day, there is knee-deep snow and at -25c for at least a month.
