Description
In the curious case of Alma Adams, Stepford came to her. Alma had received a package in the mail with no return address; which was strange but not unheard of. When she opened it all that was inside was a pink headband and nothing else. So she tossed the headband aside and continued on with her day.
While she was considering what to do for dinner she remembered the headband and realized that her hair was in her face. So, she went and retrieved the headband and put it in place. Once she id that a slight static shock seemed to come from it and her brain got kind of fuzzy. Not thinking anything of it she made a quick dinner, cleaned up and went to bed.
When she woke up there was another package at her door. She opened this one and inside were a bullet bra, high-waisted panties and a girdle with stockings. With the headband still on she ran into the bedroom and put on the new undergarments. Another static shock and they felt so divine; she felt the need to put on her smartest skirt suit and go shopping. She didn't go to her normal stores though, no this time she went to thrift stores and vintage stores. She bought herself a whole new wardrobe of vintage dresses, skirts, blouses, undergarments, shoes, and petticoats.
When she finished shopping she drove right by her apartment in Washington and straight through to this quaint town in Connecticut called Stepford. She seemed to know exactly where she was going and stopped at a nice cookie cutter house with a man in a postmaster uniform standing out front. She got out of the car and immediately know she would marry this man in just a couple of weeks.
"Welcome home Alma" Edward Whitman the postmaster of Stepford said.
"Hello dear" Alma replied.
"Lets get you settled in"
A few weeks later Alma Whitman was ironing her husbands uniform as most of Washington D.C. was looking for her and the other missing Congresswomen.
