This is really pretty :3 but personally I think she lacks a bit of her "wild spirit" She looks undoubtedly gorgeous! but a bit of blood doesn't make a Mononoke Hime, she has a wild look in her eyes, telling that she'd fight for anything that tries to destroy her home.. you know, what I mean? On this picture she simply looks pretty and nice^^

I would agree with you. This piece is gorgeous, no doubt. However, I think that making her brows "knit" and giving her eyes a harder, sharper look would do wonders to bring out her character. She almost always has a scowl in her eyes, ya know?

It always amazes how much Mononoke fanart manages to make its way to the front page versus other Ghibli films. I suppose its my favorite from the studio for a reason.
