Description
So I got rid of the old, un-touched-up version of this in the deep bowels of my gallery, and submitting this delicious remake that I fiddled with in my digital photo class.Took this shot a loooonnngg time ago, back when I was working the graveyard shift at the copy center up the road. If I got home early enough during daylight savings time (i think thats right), then I would have a very lovely view of the sunrise...
...to then have to put up with the bright sunlight shining through my window as i would try to force myself to sleep.
NOTE TO ALL: dont EVER work the graveyard shift, no matter what they pay. it screws you up. bad.

it was actually a sunrise. we'd been having really bright orange and yellow sunrises (for whatever reason) for about a week or two when i was taking this pic, and with the orientation of the clouds, they cast a blue shadow on whatever wasn't in direct line-of-sight with the sun. ergo the blue a the top.

I'm on the grave shift right now and I did it for 3 months straight and it does mess your head up. Get the best sleep ever though lol. As for the photo I love the drastic colours.

after a night of intense caffeine binges and falling asleep to a dose or two of benadryl in the morning would certainly make one proverbially "dead". it was waking up to stoner roommates coughing their brains out that usually kept me conscious. the blaring morning light certainly didnt help either : P
