Description
The Heat Engine Pokémon"Their compact shape allows them to fit into tight crevices as they develop. Often, only their wheels of hardened, charred trash are left exposed, and are able to spin rapidly to deflect attacking predators."
"Upon evolution, it has only grown even hungrier than before, needing a steady diet of garbage to keep itself fueled. The excess is released as pressurized jets of smoke and flame it can use to attack."
"Well-known to humans for many years, the spinning of its wheel has been used in all kinds of ways. The earliest combustion engines were made by replicating its process of burning fuel to produce power."

We're continuing the regional Bug-type line for Kemet with the pupa stage, Enginsect! Of the three stages of this line, this one was actually the hardest to think of a concept for. I knew I had to include the wheel somewhere, and there were several initial ideas I thought of - a pupa inside the wheel (which I ended up using for the evolution), a small super-deformed dung beetle balanced on top of the wheel and rolling it around, or that same dung beetle rolling the wheel forward like a pit crewman. I know either would've been very different from a cocoon, but it just didn't feel creative enough - plus, there's already a dung beetle fakemon out there that does the rolling thing competently enough, and I didn't want to imitate other creators too much! Going back to the drawing board, I then thought about the typing I wanted for this line, Bug/Fire. What would make the most sense with that typing and the motor vehicle theme I had planned for the final form? And then it hit me: Charjabug looks like a battery where Vikavolt is a buggy railgun, right? Well, what would happen if this cocoon stage was a counterpart to Charjabug in that it was based on what powers a vehicle? This led me to look up internal combustion engines and discover to my delight that one of their main components is a crankshaft that turns the energy from burning fuel into rotational energy (which is then used to move the tires of cars and other wheeled vehicles). YES! Now I had a solid design idea that allowed him to keep his wheel in the cocoon stage, and drawing from the shape of a V8 engine and those weird beetle pupas that look vaguelly like adult beetles, I came up with this design, and I think I'm quite happy with how it turned out now. The name I gave it is not the most imaginative, I know, but I really couldn't think up any others that made sense - there were way too few words that could combine well with "cocoon" or "pupa" that fit the engine theme and weren't used by other Pokémon. Also technically this would be a V4 engine rather than a V8 one since it has just four outlet pipes instead of eight lol, but bear with me - I had to keep the design simple enough to look like a Pokémon, accuracy be damned.
I don't have much else to say here, even stats- or move-wise - I just slapped on a few moves taken from Sizzlipede's movepool and called it a day regarding the movepool, and for the stats I started with Charjabug's spread of 57/82/95/55/75/36, and then swapped the physical attack and defense, before doing the same with the special stats, so Enginsect can still use attacking moves competently despite being immobile. He's not going to stay that way for long, though, I can tell you that much...
